Reading Today

The IFLA 2016 WLIC being in Columbus and the start of the semester here at Ohio State have combined to make my reading time scarce, but I managed to get some done while volunteering yesterday at the conference. The 2016 WLIC was my first library conference, and while I only attended one session, a colleague let me know (thanks Misty!) that all of the papers presented at the conference are available on the IFLA website under permissive Creative Commons licenses. So it’s still possible to essentially experience a great deal of the content of the conference at your leisure. Yesterday I read the seven papers presented in the session “Quality management and preservation in the age of mass processing”. I look forward to making this the primary source of reading material for the next few weeks or more.
