Columbus Museum of Art Photography Session

In an effort to gain a greater understanding of photography in general and it’s specific application to digital preservation I’m going to be photographing buildings around Columbus, in an effort to preserve the city’s architectural heritage. These collections will be uploaded to the Internet Archive for long-term storage and access and collection in the photography section of this site. First up was the Columbus Museum of Art. Capture was accomplished with a Nikon D3300 and Nikkor 18-55mm kit lens. Post-processing was accomplished using Adobe Photoshop and Bridge to augment the geospatial, attribution and rights metadata, altering the colorspace, and establishing the file-naming convention of:
